The next day, cells were treated with varying concentrations of genistein (50–200 μM) and incubated for 24 hr. Cell viability was assessed using crystal violet assays. Data are means±standard deviation of a representative experiment performed in triplicate. Similar results were obtained in two other independent experiments. The asterisk indicates significant difference (p<0.05) compared to without genistein.
